With this email, I am pleased to share my latest work on China’s advance in Chile, based on my recent research trip and interactions in that country at the beginning of this month, and supporting research. My interactions in Chile were done in my personal, private-sector capacity as Senior Non-Resident Fellow with the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). I would like to also thank the U.S. State Department for making my trip possible, and my distinguished colleague Dr. Pamela Arostica at RedCAEM, for her always capable and professional support in publishing this work through her network…Yet the opinions expressed herein, are strictly my own.
